Welcome to the website of the Centre for Sexual Addictions, a network of counsellors/psychotherapists around Ireland, providing support, information and training in the area of sexual addictions.

This website has been set up as a central resource for anyone concerned about the problem of sexual addiction, whether as a counsellor or other professional, as a possible sufferer, or as a concerned family member.

The term 'Sexual Addiction' is used to described out-of-control sexual behaviour in areas such as pornography, prostitution, affairs, etc. Terms such as 'Sexually Compulsive Behaviour' are also used to describe the same problem.

The Centre was founded by Eoin Stephens MA, MIACP, MIAAAC in 1999, in response to an increasing need to provide help and training in the area of Sexual Addiction.

Eoin started his career in addiction counselling with the Rutland Centre, and is currently College President and Director of Education & Training at PCI College. He also has the role of Director of Education & Training at CSA, along with Patrick Ryan Dip Couns, MIACP, MIAAAC as Director of Counselling, and Declan Fitzpatrick Dip Couns, MIACP as Director of Counselling & Project Development.
